Main Street Bernardsville, Inc. is covered by insurance for the event. However, individual participants may need to provide additional coverage based on their proposed participation.

In consideration of the opportunity afforded to the Applicant business/organization to participate in Main Street Bernardsville Holiday Parade and related pre-parade and post-parade activities, Applicant hereby waives and releases Main Street Bernardsville and the Borough of Bernardsville and their respective agents, employees, contractors, volunteers, event sponsors or trustees from any and all claims for injury or illness that Applicant or its individual participants may incur as a direct or indirect result of Applicant’s participation in such parade or activities. Applicant further agrees that if Applicant or its individual participants makes a claim against any of the above named persons, Applicant will indemnify, save and hold harmless each of the released entities and individuals from any litigation expenses, attorney’s fees, loss, liability, damage or cost which they may incur as the result of such claim.

All participants are subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees for Main Street Bernardsville, Inc.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Board and Executive Director of Main Street Bernardsville, Inc. may suspend or discontinue the parade.

Applicants may not operate any of the following business categories: Cannabis, Adult Entertainment (excluding traditional bars and restaurants), firearms sales (excluding antiques or training services), businesses engaged in commerce with the States of Russia and/or Belarus, any business operating entirely online, and any business otherwise prohibited by State, Local or Federal Law.
